Overview of the Role:
Join a dynamic energy organization as a Business Analyst specializing in credit and risk operations. In this role, you'll conduct complex operational analyses to support informed business decisions, manage collateral requirements, and contribute to critical financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate daily exposure to ensure collateral requirements are met, including daily margining and database updates
Manage outbound collateral instruments (guarantees, letters of credit, cash, surety bonds)
Support front office personnel with ISO collateral coverage and auction participation
Assist with credit and liquidity risk assessments including SOX controls reporting
Analyze credit metrics and prepare reports for senior management
Review contracts (ISDA, NAESB, EEI) for appropriate credit terms and limits
Partner with IT on system enhancements using Power BI, SQL, and Power Automate
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3-5 years of related business analysis experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with financial risk management and collateral operations
Knowledge of energy markets and trading contracts (ISDA, NAESB, EEI)
Proficiency with data analysis tools (Power BI, SQL preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Compensation:
Pay Rate: Up to $47.78/hour, depending on experience
