Overview of the Role
Join a leading renewable energy organization as their on-site Construction Supervisor - E&C (Civil/Mechanical Superintendent) for utility-scale solar projects. As the owner's representative, you'll ensure excellence in safety, quality, and schedule adherence while overseeing critical civil and structural construction aspects of innovative solar installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the owner's representative to monitor EPC contractor compliance with contractual commitments
Review and enforce safety documents, policies, and SWPPP implementation
Oversee civil/mechanical construction activities through daily field walks and inspections
Perform quality assurance/control inspections and documentation
Monitor contractor progress and maintain project schedules
Attend safety meetings, craft tailgates, and management coordination sessions
Track and resolve open action items and punchlist completion
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of industrial experience in civil and structural construction
Demonstrated ability to comprehend construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership skills with experience managing people and contractors
Excellent organizational abilities including scheduling and progress reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with construction management software and data entry systems
Clear communication skills for interfacing with contractors and third parties
