We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a critical construction project that will shape the future of energy delivery. This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring deep technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

This 12-month contract position offers the opportunity to work on one of the most significant energy construction projects currently underway, applying your engineering excellence to real-world challenges with immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level engineering oversight and technical direction for major energy construction projects
  • Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and construction documents
  • Lead technical problem-solving for complex engineering challenges on-site
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including construction teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, quality controls, and industry regulations
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams
  • Develop and implement engineering procedures and best practices for the project
  • Conduct site inspections and provide engineering assessments of construction progress

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) required; Master's preferred
  • 11-15 years of progressive engineering experience in large-scale construction or energy projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in energy sector construction (power generation, transmission, or related infrastructure)
  • Extensive knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong proficiency with engineering software and project management tools
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical information to diverse audiences
  • Must be willing to work on-site at project location for duration of contract
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in technical team environments
