Position Overview

Our client is a leading energy company seeking a motivated Sourcing Specialist - Level 1 Associate to join their dynamic supply chain team. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing within the energy sector. The successful candidate will support critical sourcing operations while developing expertise in contract negotiations, supplier evaluations, and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing processes for assigned business areas, including procurement and contract negotiations
• Conduct supplier evaluations and performance assessments to ensure compliance with company policies
• Develop and administer sourcing agreements and procurement strategies to drive cost efficiency
• Lead and participate in sourcing projects while managing external spend effectively
• Oversee acquisition, distribution, and tracking of project materials to align with operational schedules
• Assist in bid analysis, supplier selection, and contract award recommendations
• Support simple negotiations and execute purchase orders accurately
• Collaborate with business units and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations
• Maintain sourcing data integrity and track supplier performance metrics
• Ensure adherence to corporate guidelines, legal standards, and environmental regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software systems
• Understanding of sourcing processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards preferred
