Location: On-site in Kansas City, Denver, Oklahoma City, or Omaha (with 5 days/month remote flexibility)

Overview
Our client is a leading financial institution with a critical national mission, seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join their technology team. This is a high-impact contract role where you'll collaborate with leading tech professionals to strengthen and protect essential economic and financial systems. You will develop, support, and deliver comprehensive testing strategies and solutions for mission-critical applications, ensuring quality delivery to customers. This senior-level position requires analytical problem-solving skills and collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions while implementing comprehensive software quality assurance strategies
- Establish and foster collaborative relationships with customers, service providers, and technical delivery partners
- Develop test scenarios and user acceptance criteria by analyzing requirement specifications and user stories
- Create, review, and execute test plans, test scripts, and test data to ensure applications meet business needs and quality standards
- Document, track, and resolve software defects/issues in collaboration with product delivery teams
- Ensure quality is built into software solutions throughout the SDLC via peer reviews and relevant QA processes/technologies
- Develop and communicate software quality measures reporting on reliability, compliance, performance, and security
- Align QA services with product delivery approaches and schedules through close partnership with delivery teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with senior-level expertise
- Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex applications
- Strong experience with requirement analysis, test planning, script development, and defect management
- Experience working in collaborative environments with both technical and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ability to develop and report on software quality measures (reliability, performance, security)
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with at least 3+ years of US residency
- Ability to work on-site in Kansas City, Denver, Oklahoma City, or Omaha with limited remote flexibility
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
