Knowledge Base Migration Specialist

Location: Juno Beach, FL | Contract Duration: 5 Months (03/02/2026 - 08/28/2026)

Pay Rate: $40.23/hour | Employment Type: Contract (Full-Time)

Position Overview

Our client is a leading energy and utility company seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to lead a critical knowledge base migration initiative. As a Knowledge Base Migration Specialist, you will oversee the tactical execution of migrating enterprise knowledge base content from a legacy platform to Confluence Cloud. This is a hands-on, results-driven role perfect for someone who thrives in complex technical environments and values precision execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on migration of knowledge base content to Confluence Cloud platform
• Ensure seamless transition of content, metadata, and functionality during platform migration
• Collaborate directly with the Change and Knowledge Management Lead on strategic migration planning
• Validate data integrity and content structure throughout migration process
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve migration-related blockers
• Document migration workflows and create comprehensive transition documentation
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure post-migration system stability
• Provide technical guidance on Confluence Cloud best practices and capabilities
• Support end-user training and change management initiatives
• Monitor system performance and user adoption post-migration

Required Qualifications

• 6-10 years of IT Business Systems Analysis experience
• Advanced expertise in Confluence (Cloud and/or Server environments)
• Demonstrated experience leading platform migrations or system implementations
• Strong technical knowledge of content management systems and knowledge bases
• Proficiency with data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
• Experience with API integrations and technical troubleshooting
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Atlassian product ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Background in energy, utilities, or regulated industries
• Knowledge of enterprise content management (ECM) systems
• Experience with SQL or database query languages
• Agile/Scrum certification or methodology experience
• Change management experience

Work Environment & Benefits

• Location: On-site at 700 Universe Boulevard, Juno Beach, FL 33408 (No Remote)
• Schedule: Standard 40-hour work week (8 AM - 5 PM), Monday-Friday
• Duration: 5-Month Contract with potential for extension
• Hours: 1,040 total billable hours over contract period
• Additional: Standard time sheet processing and weekly payroll
