You'll be instrumental in bringing clean energy infrastructure online that powers millions of homes and businesses.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Full responsibility for construction projects once turned over for field execution, driving all aspects to successful completion
- Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams including staff, contractors, and stakeholders
- Safety Management: Establish and maintain rigorous safety culture, ensure compliance with all safety requirements and regulations
- Contract Administration: Manage EPC contractor relationships, ensure performance meets specifications and contractual obligations
- Budget & Schedule: Establish cost and schedule baselines, track variances, and report to senior management
- Quality Oversight: Ensure construction quality meets design specifications and industry standards
- Commissioning: Lead commissioning activities and facility start-up procedures
- Operations Readiness: Coordinate with operations team to ensure seamless handoff and readiness for commercial operation
- Stakeholder Relations: Interface with regulatory agencies, community stakeholders, and public affairs
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the construction lifecycle
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Strong budget oversight and cost control experience on capital projects
- Experience with EPC contractor management and contract administration
- Demonstrated safety leadership and compliance track record
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
Preferred:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experience with utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects
- Commissioning and facility start-up experience
- Knowledge of renewable energy construction practices
- Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
- OSHA 30 certification
