Join a Fortune 200 clean energy leader as a Project Manager driving utility-scale renewable energy construction projects from execution through commissioning. This leadership role puts you in command of major capital projects, managing cross-functional teams, EPC contractors, budgets, and schedules while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational readiness. You'll be instrumental in bringing clean energy infrastructure online that powers millions of homes and businesses.

๐Ÿ’ผ Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Full responsibility for construction projects once turned over for field execution, driving all aspects to successful completion
  • Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams including staff, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Safety Management: Establish and maintain rigorous safety culture, ensure compliance with all safety requirements and regulations
  • Contract Administration: Manage EPC contractor relationships, ensure performance meets specifications and contractual obligations
  • Budget & Schedule: Establish cost and schedule baselines, track variances, and report to senior management
  • Quality Oversight: Ensure construction quality meets design specifications and industry standards
  • Commissioning: Lead commissioning activities and facility start-up procedures
  • Operations Readiness: Coordinate with operations team to ensure seamless handoff and readiness for commercial operation
  • Stakeholder Relations: Interface with regulatory agencies, community stakeholders, and public affairs
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the construction lifecycle

โœ… Required Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects
  • Strong budget oversight and cost control experience on capital projects
  • Experience with EPC contractor management and contract administration
  • Demonstrated safety leadership and compliance track record
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required

Preferred:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Experience with utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects
  • Commissioning and facility start-up experience
  • Knowledge of renewable energy construction practices
  • Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
  • OSHA 30 certification
