Sales Officer

Industry: logistics & Transports

Job Purpose

To support the execution of day-to-day sales activities including customer contact, quotation preparation, and coordination with internal teams. The Sales Officer is a key contributor in introducing HLH Transports services to the market, responding to inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Support & Client Interaction

• Respond promptly to client inquiries via email, phone, or in-person.
• Provide information about HLHs services including freight forwarding, road transport, customs clearance, and warehousing.
• Maintain regular contact with assigned clients and follow up on leads.

2. Quotation Preparation & Communication

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely quotations for logistics services.
• Calculate basic rates including tax/VAT in line with pricing guidance.
• Submit quotations to clients and follow up on feedback.

3. Sales Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with the Documentation, Operations, and Finance teams to support customer needs.
• Record all sales activities, quotation status, and customer communication in the CRM system.
• Ensure that all client documents, contracts, and quotations are properly filed and tracked.

4. Market Information & Reporting

• Gather basic competitor information and customer preferences.
• Assist in data collection for market surveys and price benchmarking.
• Prepare weekly updates on client interaction and follow-up activities.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field
• 1-2 years of working experience in sales, customer service, or logistics (preferred but not required)

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and presentation skills
• Basic understanding of logistics services is an advantage
• Computer literate (MS Office, Email, CRM)
• Proficiency in Khmer; English required; Chinese is a plus
