Job Summary:

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing Accounts Payable (AP), prepayments, fixed assets, withdrawals, and related accounting and tax matters. The role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with Cambodian tax regulations, effective internal controls, and timely payments while supervising junior staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable, prepayments, withdrawals, loans, and fixed assets.
  • Review purchase invoices and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare payment requests, payment vouchers, cheques, and bank transfers.
  • Maintain cash book, cash flow, and perform daily and monthly reconciliations.
  • Monitor supplier contracts, payment terms, AP aging, and clearing accounts.
  • Handle monthly tax declarations (VAT, WHT, TOP, Advanced Profit Tax).
  • Coordinate with internal departments, banks, auditors, and tax teams.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountant(s).
  • Maintain proper filing and accounting records in compliance with company policy.
  • Support audits and improve payment and purchasing procedures.

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AP, finance, and Cambodian taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and internal controls.
  • Experience with accounting and ERP systems (AP, GL, inventory, fixed assets).
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
  • High integrity, loyalty, and attention to detail.
