Job Summary: 

The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records by managing general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the timely preparation of financial statements and tax filings. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of journal entries.
  • Review ledger accounts for accuracy and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare and record accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other required adjustments.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare Monthly Tax
  • Perform regular reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany balances, fixed assets, and other control accounts.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and journal entries.

Main Requirements: 

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting principles.

  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
