Summery: The role is responsible for leading and supervising the QC team to ensure high product quality and compliance with food safety standards. The position supports quality systems such as GMP, HACCP, BRC, and other certifications, participates in internal and external audits, and assists with new product development and packaging improvements. The candidate should have a background in Food Science or related fields, at least 3 years of QA/QC experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Leading, coaching & mentoring the QC team & ensuring highest product quality.
  • Point of contact with Thai QC /SL for specific consultation related to new product development, packaging improvement, etc.
  • Be a team member to ensure GMP, Safety and Quality in the entire factory.
  • Implement, maintain, & improve quality systems e.g. BRC, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, Organic, Fairtrade & Gluten free.
  • Join in-house and external audits (local raw material suppliers) to ensure proper quality.
  • Assisting all internal and external audits such as BRC, SEDEX, GMP, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, Organic, Fairtrade, Gluten free, etc.
  • Assist in customer interactions appropriately (complaints, questionnaire, etc).
  • Implement, verify and maintain updated in-scope documentation; Quality manual (QM), Quality procedure (QP), Support document (SD), Work instruction (WI), Form (FM), etc.
  • Other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in food science, Food Technology, Argo-Industry or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in QA/QC function from Food or related industries.
  • Good understanding of GMP/HACCP/BRC/HALAL certifications.
  • Good command of English (reading, writing and speaking skills) and Computer literacy.
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
