Job Summary

The Head of Business Development leads product development, commercial planning, and market insights to drive growth and competitiveness. The role partners with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop strategies, improve decision-making, and ensure cross-functional integration that supports the companys overall goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration of product, sales, service, and marketing strategies into actionable business plans.
  • Develop and monitor product development, demand, and cycle plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis, trade research, and performance reviews to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Support sales and account management with strategies to grow customer clusters, channels, and key accounts.
  • Oversee product and promotional campaigns, track ROI, and provide post-campaign performance reports.
  • Manage product development budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Provide regular reports on market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to senior management.
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members; collaborate with HR on skill development initiatives.

Main Requirements

  • Bachelors in Business Administration (Tourism/Hospitality preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in business development, product or commercial strategy (travel industry a plus).
  • Strong skills in strategy, planning, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and digital tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to influence across teams and stakeholders.
