About the job Director of People and Culture
Job Summary:
Lead the overall HR function by aligning people strategies with business goals and organizational growth. Oversee talent acquisition, employer branding, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, and succession planning. Ensure compliance with Cambodian labor laws, payroll and HR policies, while driving employee engagement, culture, workplace safety, and organizational transformation.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Translate business strategy into HR and workforce plans aligned with company goals.
- Partner with management to identify workforce needs, gaps, and HR solutions.
- Lead employee engagement, well-being, culture, and organizational change initiatives.
- Ensure HR strategies support business growth and employee retention.
2. Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding
- Develop workforce planning strategies to meet current and future talent needs.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
- Strengthen employer branding through partnerships, events, and talent outreach.
- Oversee onboarding to ensure smooth integration and early employee productivity.
3. Compensation and Benefits
- Develop and maintain competitive and equitable compensation and benefits structures.
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll operations.
- Ensure compliance with Cambodian Labor Law, NSSF, and company policies.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and review reward practices.
4. Learning Development and Performance
- Develop learning and development programs to build employee capabilities and leadership talent.
- Establish effective performance management through KPIs, reviews, feedback, and coaching.
- Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning.
- Develop career pathways and talent development programs to support employee growth.
5. Workforce Safety and Operations
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Oversee facilities, equipment, and working environments to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Promote safety awareness and a culture of accountability and prevention.
- Continuously improve workplace safety and HR operational effectiveness.
Main Requirements:
- Extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles (HR Director / Head of People & Culture).
- Strong strategic and hands-on HR management skills.
