IT Support Engineer

As the first point of contact for all IT support queries, you will be working with end users across the company to resolve or escalate their technical issues in a prompt and professional manner. You will have the opportunity to work with, and support all departments, enabling growth in expertise, exposure to various systems and career development.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems
  • Diagnose and solve technical and application issues
  • Keep track of IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses and peripherals
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee replacement or repair of defective equipment
  • Communicate with technical service providers like internet and security system providers
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • New employee setup and support
  • Ensure off boarding of leavers is dealt with promptly to uphold system security
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
  • Occasional on-site support service for customers
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English to interact with international team and suppliers
  • Passionate about technology
  • Undergraduate in any discipline
  • 1-2 years' experience working in an IT support role would be beneficial
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac OS environments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in a logical manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
