Job Summary: Responsible for managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure an efficient and cost-effective supply chain.  This role involves working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), optimising processes, controlling costs, and improving overall logistics performance.

Job Responsibilities (JR):

  • Vendor & 3PL Management Oversee third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure quality service, cost control, and timely deliveries.
  • Operational Oversight Manage daily logistics operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and optimise transportation and warehousing.
  • Process Optimization Improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting Develop logistics budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor expenses.
  • Data & Performance Tracking  Analyse key logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory turnover) and prepare performance reports.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead logistics teams, coordinate with internal departments, and handle escalations.
  • Customer Service Support Ensure smooth deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of logistics experience, including 2-3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with WMS/TMS software and logistics performance tracking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
