Job Summary:

Our client is a leading company in the logistics industry seeking a qualified Operation Officer to support their import/export operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and process the booking from customer and supplier carriers both ocean import and export shipment
  • Carry out daily operation task efficiently and work within area guidelines and companys policies and procedures
  • Provide document for and monitor customs clearance and coordinate with related parties
  • Follow up with carrier/airlines and update cargo status to agent/customer on time
  • Report and feedback on irregularities, pre-claims, and problems to manager
  • Follow up on customer shipment advices and feedback to customer and oversea agent and make respective shipment arrangement
  • Work out quotations for existing customers and providing obtained market information to sales
  • Take up additional tasks as assigned by management

Main Requirements:

  • Education Finished Bachelor Degree or related fields

  • Experience At least 3 years

  • Language Good written and spoken English, Chinese is a plus

  • Computer literacy Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Required Abilities:

    • Able to work in a highly integrated team

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skill

    • Dynamic, fast learner, and open minded

  • Have a good background, behavior, and attitude

  • Demonstrate sound professional ethics
