About the job Academic Director (Khmer Program)
Responsible for the general oversight, management, direction, research & development and the proper functioning of all academic programs and work hands in hands with CHIEF EDUCATION OFFICER to achieve schools and Company objectives
V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Background
- Masters degree in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership or Curriculum and Instruction.
- Work Related Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- Experience in program and curriculum development.
- Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience.
- Good knowledge of Cambodian education especially private sector.
- Language
- Good command of spoken and written Khmer & English.
Technical Competencies and Skills
- Good knowledge of child development and teaching methods.
- Knowledge of best practices and research in curriculum, assessment, and instruction.
- Knowledge of company and academic program policies regarding curriculum and instruction.
- Knowledge of program evaluation and Cambodia labor Law.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Good command computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Internet and Email) and good knowledge of Education technology, ICT.
- Leadership and Communication Skills/Personality Qualities
- Facilitation, presentation, problem solving, interpersonal and mediation skills.
- Being a great team facilitator and ability to work with diverse curricular subject areas.
- Self-managed, self- motivated and highly responsible.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently, trustworthily, and collaboratively.
- High level of diplomacy and confidentiality required.
