About the job Medical Science Liaison

General responsibilities Influence, shape and co-own product strategy internally, reflecting relevant patients, scientific and clinical insights.
Collect, analyze and report insights from HCPs to inform and shape the IPS plan and medical strategy. Identify and engage with Medical Experts and investigators in
alignment with medical strategy, in collaboration with the cross
functional team.

If needed, involve HCPs to obtain their support/advice or
participation in specific medical and scientific activities such as
advisory boards, education of other HCPs and drafting of publications.
Respond to unsolicited requests from Medical Experts and other
key stakeholders by sharing data on client products.
Acting on an investigators request, liaise with the potential
researcher submission process or requests for research grade
substance to support independent clinical / preclinical research
Communicate and discuss medical, scientific and outcome
research evidence on new treatment options, Client compounds,
products, therapeutic and research trends, and the current scientific
debate with key HCPs.
In collaboration with the clinical research team to identify potential
study sites, provide trial feasibility and support study accrual for key
trials as appropriate. Serve as local medical resource for disease area and
compound/product training to Novartis field associates.
Keep up to date with developments in relevant client and competitor
products as well as broader developments in own therapeutic area.
