Duties and Responsibilities
To work on Staff Training Projects, Departmental SOP, Workflow Review, and quality control for both Claims and Underwriting Departments.
Set up an effective departmental structure, logical & smooth workflow, and efficient claim procedures.
Manage and supervise claim supervisors to assess and settle claims regarding effective corporate claims philosophy (plan and set up effective and valuable added services for consumers).
Ensure that the claim staff is effectively managed and motivated.
Set up efficient administrative support and record-keeping.
Check and approve all claims within the authority and will get approval from the upper level if it is beyond the authority.
Analyze claim data to closely monitor the claim trend and also keep timely alert to the involved departments about the claim experiences or other relevant information.
Control and monitor tightly the internal cost of running the department and claim costs.
Plan claim projection and budget for the department.
Be involved with preparing a Business Plan or Business Strategy for the whole operation.
Provide a claim training program in-house to claim staff.
Prepare monthly and annual claim reports to the management team.
Provide a presentation about the claims procedure to clients.
Be involved with preparing marketing plans and strategies for insurance products.
Other jobs related to the Claims Department or the Company.
