Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk of Quality (QC Staff) to join our Quality Control team in the Fiber Optic Cable Production industry. The ideal candidate will have at least a 12th-grade education, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. This role is essential for supporting the quality control processes and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Management: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance records.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter quality control data into the companys quality management system, ensuring that all information is current and easily accessible for audits and reviews.
  • Inspection Support: Support QC inspectors and engineers by preparing inspection checklists, labels, and documentation required for product testing and verification.
  • Sample Handling: Organize and manage the collection, labeling, and storage of product samples for testing and quality analysis.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between the QC department and production teams, ensuring that any quality issues are promptly reported and addressed.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital files related to quality control processes, ensuring easy retrieval during internal and external audits.
  • Assistance in Audits: Provide administrative support during internal and external quality audits, including the preparation of necessary documentation and records.
  • Quality Awareness: Promote a culture of quality within the organization by assisting in the distribution of quality-related information and updates to the production staff.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions and stay informed about updates in quality control procedures and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma (12th grade) or higher; additional technical or vocational training in quality control or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or quality control environment, is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly records.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with data entry in quality management systems.
