Job Summary:
The 3PL Manager oversees third-party logistics operations, managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Main Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with 3PL providers, ensuring performance, quality, and cost targets.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring compliance and timely product delivery.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve efficiency, reduce costs, and resolve issues with internal teams.
- Data Management & Reporting: Track KPIs, prepare reports, and manage inventory levels.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead the logistics team, collaborate with internal departments and 3PL providers.
- Customer Service: Ensure timely deliveries and handle customer complaints regarding logistics issues.
Main Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in logistics, with 2-3 years in management, including experience with 3PLs.
- Skills: Leadership, negotiation, data analysis, problem-solving, and logistics software proficiency.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, occasional overtime.
- On-site at warehouse/logistics center with occasional travel.
- Physical requirements may include lifting up to 25kg.
