Job summary

This role is responsible in developing and leading the Sales and Operations Planning in the market. He / She will be accountable for the implementation and execution of monthly step meetings, participate in developing the overall process, systems and governance landscape. This individual will drive key objectives including forecast accuracy & bias, improvement to operational efficiencies, optimizing inventory performance and service level.

Essential responsibilities

General responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation of S&OP in the market and execution as per Group CG S&OP design framework
  • Establish the step meetings in the market (Market Demand Review, Supply Demand Review, Market Pre-S&OP and Clients & Products Portfolio Review).
  • Accountable for the market submission to CG Executive S&OP Meeting (include but not limited to coordination with stakeholder and alignment with Market VP)
  • Put together step meetings calendar in a rolling 12 to 18 months and make sure all reviews are conducted on a monthly basis
  • Document and communicate key actions and decisions to drive organizational alignment of the plans (Net Sales, EBIT and Inventory)
  • Lead and develop the monthly demand plan collaborating across the market organization
  • Establish demand planning measures and controls with root cause and corrective action to improve forecast accuracy and bias.
  • Collaborate closely cross functionally to develop accurate demand plans while supporting the optimization of supply and inventory plans.

Establish one set of number in the market.

  • Identify gaps to supply and demand alignment leading teams to identify scenarios to mitigate and prepare recommendation.
  • Align market processes and standard template to those defined by

Group CG S&OP and sharing best practices and learnings in the

S&OP community

  • Measure S&OP key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine the success of S&OP process
  • Establish the mechanism to track overall S&OP process maturity and lead key process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct the self-assessment and audit to measure compliance, adherence to the process and continuous improvement
  • Support overall roadmap to achieve objectives, including process, application support tools, policies and control mechanism
  • Champion CG S&OP in market with the support of Group CG S&OP and Market VP
  • Ensure S&OP meeting principle, objective and expected outcome are accomplished

Job requirements

Functional skills and knowledge

  • Subject matter expert of Demand, Supply and Inventory Management. Proven ability to effectively drive the requirement of these three areas.
  • Background in Finance would be an added advantage to navigate the financial elements of S&OP
  • Experience in implementing S&OP or handling change management process/ project will be a benefit
  • Demand planning experience is essential and success in setting up and managing Demand Planning team is needed
  • A proven leader with excellent people management skills. Someone who is a collaborator as this role requires close relentless engagement with many stakeholders.

Education

Bachelors degree in supply chain management or business or equivalent

Work experience

5 to 10 years of sales and operations planning with experience leading a demand planning team
