Head of Marketing

Purpose of Job:
To lead the Marketing Department and drive marketing strategies with a proven track record of developing and executing successful
campaigns, managing teams, and delivering measurable for group malls. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong skills, a passion for marketing, and the ability to analyze data to
inform strategy

Major Roles and Responsibilities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligning with the companys objectives and vision.
- Lead and manage the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture in the Marketing Department.
- In consultation with the HR department, implement effective succession planning, people management, development,
recruitment, assessment, and retention strategies for the department.
- Develop systems and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the marketing programs; design appropriate measurement
tools to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing efforts.
- Reviews and advises management on the effectiveness of internal policies and procedures, and brings up ideas to change,
improve and update as appropriate.
- Develop short-term and long-term strategies for the marketing, communications, public relations, and research development
programs to enhance the companys image and position within the marketplace and the public.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data analytics to refine tactics and optimize ROI.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact.
- Collaborate with the Leasing team, Head of Operations, or Tenants to develop strategies that drive lead generation and
conversion that will improve and maximize occupancy of the mall, and increase footfalls, sales, and retention of customers.
- Implements and evaluates the effectiveness of comprehensive marketing programs and takes corrective actions for
improvements.
- Facilitates internal and external communications and is responsible for the designation, production, and distribution of
marketing materials, including publications, media relations, customer awareness, etc.
- Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, content, email, events, and traditional
marketing.
- Build positive relations with tenants; plan and organize tenant meetings, customer service training, and tenant communications;
evaluate and improve overall tenant relations and customer service on an ongoing basis.
- Works effectively with relevant departments to ensure optimum business effectiveness and communicate information
throughout the company and its subsidiaries.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and media to enhance brand visibility and image.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels.
- Conducts and analyzes market research, trend analysis, and strategies; coordinates research activities for the malls (customer
studies, footfall, tenant mix, demographics); continually evaluate the competition and market conditions to ensure the successful
execution of marketing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to ensure the company remains
competitive.
- Performs ad-hoc assignments from time to time.

Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in marketing, business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably in the Retail Industry.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM software.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects.
