Accounting Manager (3-4 years)

We are looking for a responsible Accounting Manager to manage all financial transactions and reports with integrity. Responsibilities include reviewing procedures, examining accounts, supervising customer billing and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate would also be able to independently complete monthly and annual tax returns and assist with the company's tax planning. To be successful in this role, you should approach each issue with an analytical mindset and be confident to advise and lead the team. Ultimately, with effective tasks planning and management, you will drive the accounting team to be an integral part of the company while ensuring we are compliant with all tax regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 4 years experience as an Accountant
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of Cambodian Tax Laws
  • Experience in Monthly and Yearly tax e-filing and desktop uploads
  • Fluency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Strong command of English to communicate with international suppliers like Microsoft
  • Attention to detail with a questioning mind
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Adept at multi-tasking and prioritising to get all work done
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive leader who is willing to share team members workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other business units
  • Ability to analyse practices, methods and procedures and recommend new procedures
  • Experience in setting up chart of accounts and accounting system
  • Possess drive to pursue an expansive finance career

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper bookkeeping in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Bill clients promptly and manage account receivables to ensure timely collection
  • Manage accounts payable and reconciliations
  • Handle overseas suppliers (English speaking)
  • Monitor ongoing cash and liquidity needs for operations
  • Review and report any discrepancies found in records
  • Cambodian Tax declaration
  • Work with HR department to process Payroll and NSSF
  • Establish, review and update finance policies and procedures
  • Provide complete, accurate and timely financial updates
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Keep up to date with latest regulations
  • Undertake other tasks assigned by management
