Job Summary:

Our client, a Commercial Bank is seeking a Corporate Banking Head to lead and manage corporate banking businesses, driving growth aligned with the banks strategic plan. Focus on maximizing customer relationships, profitability, and business development through effective cross-selling and building centers of influence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow corporate banking, achieving loan and cross-sell targets in line with corporate planning and budgeting.
• Acquire, develop, and manage corporate banking and select SME relationships by guiding Relationship Managers (RMs) in sales efforts and ensuring high credit quality.
• Support RMs in retaining and growing the customer base, increasing profitability, and efficiently managing credit risks and costs.
• Lead key transactions from origination to execution, making presentations to risk and credit teams.
• Ensure compliance with AML, internal policies, and all relevant regulations.
  
• Address NPL and client-related issues proactively, reporting to upper management.
• Develop RMs and Assistant RMs (ARMs) in line with market changes, providing training and development.
• Participate in interview panels for RM, ARM, credit analysts, and other candidates.
• Ensure management trainees receive relevant on-the-job training.

Qualifications:

• Masters or bachelors degree in business administration, finance, banking, management, ACCA/CPA, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate banking from a reputable commercial bank.
• In-depth experience in local commercial and corporate business segments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Ability to operate in a complex environment with multiple demands.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines with quality results.
• Experience with budget planning and responsibility.

• Fluent in English.
