Summary

The Policy & Project Manager is responsible for:

  • Developing and analyzing policies
  • Leading and managing policy-related projects
  • Engaging stakeholders
  • Supporting communication and branding efforts

This role demands strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising

  • Liaise with existing donors and explore new grant opportunities
  • Assess grant data and CAMFEBAs ability to deliver proposed services

2. Project Delivery

  • Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and risks
  • Coordinate internal and external teams
  • Report to stakeholders and regulatory bodies

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy

  • Track policy trends and legislative changes
  • Research and draft policy recommendations
  • Represent CAMFEBA in discussions, forums, and working groups
  • Support branding and communication efforts, including newsletters and updates

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Business Admin, or related
  • Experience: 35 years in policy, project management, or government relations
  • Skills:
    • Strong research and writing
    • Excellent verbal/written communication
    • Good understanding of legislative and compliance processes
    • Leadership and team management
    • Fluent in English (spoken & written)
    • Able to work under pressure and full-time
