Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Summary:
Our client, a leading Microfinance Institution (MFI), is looking for a CEO to provide strategic leadership, oversee overall operations, and drive long-term growth and profitability. The CEO will act as the primary liaison between the board and the organization and represent the company to stakeholders, investors, regulators, and the public.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the companys vision, mission, and strategy; monitor industry trends.
• Develop credit products, policies, procedures, and related documents; support innovation and market research.
• Oversee daily operations, manage resources, budgets, and performance; establish KPIs.
• Approve budgets, monitor financial health, and report to the board.
• Maintain relationships with board members, investors, partners, regulators, and clients; represent the company publicly.
• Build and mentor a high-performing executive team; drive talent development and foster positive culture.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure regulatory and legal compliance.

Main Requirements:

• Masters degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Management, or related fields.
• 10-15 years in senior management or executive roles.
• Proven leadership in credit risk, financial management, and institutional growth.
• Knowledge of industry trends and regulations; experience in fundraising/investment is a plus. 
• High ethical standards; fluent in Khmer and English.
