Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities for our trading company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in procuring materials, furniture, and other products from overseas markets, particularly China, and will work closely with sales, production, and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials, furniture, and other products from local and international suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end procurement process including purchase orders, vendor follow-ups, logistics, and customs clearance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate closely with sales and production teams to understand demand, forecast requirements, and plan procurement schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels, optimize stock, and manage supplier performance.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, import/export regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and recommend strategies for cost savings and efficiency.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in trading companies or handling overseas sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of international sourcing, especially China and other overseas markets.
- Experience in furniture, raw materials, and general trading products procurement.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, production, and operations teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with import/export procedures and logistics coordination.
- Fluency in English and basic Mandarin is an advantage.
