Job Summary:
The Deputy General Manager (DGM) supports the General Manager in driving strategy, operations, and business growth. This role oversees daily operations, leads cross-functional teams, ensures profitability, and supports expansion aligned with our clients sustainability and innovation goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support GM in strategy and annual plans.
- Lead operations: production, procurement, logistics, QA, and business development.
- Improve supply chain, cost control, and product innovation.
- Manage teams with leadership and performance coaching.
- Align with sales/marketing to meet market demand.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Drive business development and execute projects.
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and financial performance.
- Oversee pricing, financial planning, and profitability.
- Act as Acting GM when required.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Agribusiness, Business, Food Science, Supply Chain (Masters preferred).
- 5-7 years in agribusiness/food production, 3+ years in senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of agriculture, supply chains, and food markets.
- Leadership, business acumen, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
- English proficiency; knowledge of sustainability and food safety is an advantage.
