Head/Deputy Head of Product

Job Summary:
Our client is an MFI and looking for a Head/Deputy Head of Product & Business Development to lead and support the design, development, and management of innovative financial products and services. The role is key in driving product performance, market competitiveness, and sustainable growth through strategic planning, market research, and cross-functional collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the full product lifecycle: design, launch, and post-launch performance monitoring.
• Enhance existing products to meet customer needs and market trends while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Risk, and other teams to ensure smooth product implementation.
• Support Bancassurance strategy, product creation, distribution channels, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative delivery channels.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform product positioning and business strategy.
• Contribute to strategic planning, digital transformation initiatives, and business model development.
• Lead and develop the product team, prepare reports, and support management decision-making.

Main Requirements:

•  Bachelors in Business, Economics, Banking & Finance, or related field (Masters is a plus).
• 3-5 years experience in product or business development, preferably in banking, MFI, or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Solid project management, analytical, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Khmer and English (written & spoken).
