Job Summary
The Garment Technical Specialist will manage product development samples, ensure technical requirements are accurately interpreted and communicated to vendors/factories, and support product standardization and re-engineering. This role aims to optimize garment construction, improve fabric consumption, and ensure samples and production meet technical and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Product Risk Assessment at Counfit and Collection Sample stages
  • Measure and fit all samples; record measurements accurately, including deviations
  • Approve fittings on all combos
  • Issue technical comments on Counfit and Collection Samples within required timelines, following priorities set by the Merchandising Department
  • Support pre-production control and participate in pre-production meetings with vendors and factories
  • Seal Collection Sample and sign final measurement chart for production and final inspection
  • Collaborate with the companys France Technical Team to ensure adherence to SOP and efficient information transfer
  • Support and develop 3D projects with France and vendors
  • Support design-to-cost, eco-design, and product re-engineering for permanent/basic styles
  • Collaborate with Costing, ME, and Merchandising teams to improve FOB cost via garment construction and product re-engineering

Main Requirements:

  • High-level knowledge in pattern creation and garment fitting
  • Experience with 3D sampling, 3D pattern adjustment, and 3D fitting solutions
  • Expertise in garment construction re-engineering
  • Understanding of fabric quality versus sewing construction
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team-oriented skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, PLM, and PowerBi
  • Proficient in English; Mandarin is a plus
