About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join our team and play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring multiple teams within the organization using Agile/Scrum best practices and methodologies. The Scrum Master will be responsible for enhancing the team's agile maturity, removing impediments, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of Agile principles, and a commitment to fostering a productive and positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Coaching and Mentorship: Guide and mentor multiple teams and the organization in Agile/Scrum best practices, methodologies, and values.
  • Scrum Maturity Assessment: Assess the Scrum maturity of teams and the organization and coach them to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable and comfortable pace.
  • Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments or guide teams in removing impediments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Work Facilitation: Facilitate the completion of work assignments without assigning or dictating work, promoting a self-organized team environment.
  • Team Building and Conflict Resolution: Facilitate discussions, decision-making processes, team building, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Communication and Transparency: Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency and radiate information, supporting product owners and project leadership in maximizing return on investment (ROI) and achieving organizational objectives.
  • Product Backlog Management: Support and educate the Product Owner and teams in grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Agile Delivery: Engage in agile delivery using the best agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Servant Leadership: Provide support to teams using a servant leadership style, leading by example and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Scrum Ceremonies: Facilitate all necessary team meetings in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
  • Design Participation: Participate actively in all design sessions.
  • Special Tasks: Perform or direct the performance of special tasks as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in the Scrum Master role.
  • Certification:
    • Scrum Master certification (please include a copy of the certificate with your resume).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Performance Measurement: Experience in identifying and building Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program performance.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Documentation: Experience in creating and maintaining product timelines, status reports, communication plans, and other product management-related documentation.
