Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our pool of esteemed healthcare team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments and functional limitations. Your expertise will help patients improve their movement, manage pain, and enhance their overall quality of life through personalized rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and range of motion, to determine their therapy needs.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Design and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide Therapy: Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities, to address patients' physical impairments and functional limitations.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and document patients' progress towards their goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
  • Educate Patients: Offer guidance and education to patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and techniques for managing physical conditions.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to Protocols: Follow organizational policies, protocols, and safety guidelines to maintain high standards of care and a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy or Masters degree in Physiotherapy is highly desirable.
  • Licensure: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Certification: Additional certifications in specialized areas of physiotherapy are advantageous.
  • Vaccinations: Up-to-date with annual flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Work Rights: Must have full work rights in Australia.

  • Clinical Expertise: Proficiency in assessing physical conditions, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with physiotherapy equipment and electronic medical records (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of therapeutic techniques, rehabilitation strategies, and best practices in physiotherapy.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working in a diverse environment and awareness of cultural considerations in patient care.
