The Opportunity
ANT Recruitment is inviting expressions of interest from experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers for a specialist aviation maintenance business based at East Midlands Airport.
Our client is interested in UK CAA Part-66 licensed engineers with a Beechcraft King Air B200 and/or Reims-Cessna F406 type rating who are local to the East Midlands area. This is a future opportunity rather than an immediate appointment, making it suitable for engineers considering their next move confidentially.
The Role
The engineering work supports aircraft availability through maintenance, fault investigation and accurate technical records. The final responsibilities and working pattern will be discussed with suitable candidates.
Any certification or release-to-service duties will remain subject to the appropriate licence privileges, aircraft coverage, competence and company authorisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support aircraft maintenance and defect investigation within the agreed scope of the position.
- Apply approved maintenance data and company procedures when completing engineering work.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate technical findings clearly.
- Work with the wider engineering team to support safe and reliable aircraft availability.
- Carry out certification duties only within the scope of the relevant licence and company authorisation.
Essential Requirements
- A UK CAA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- A Beechcraft King Air B200 and/or Reims-Cessna F406 type rating.
- Relevant aircraft maintenance experience, with clear details of recent work and authorisations.
- Local to East Midlands Airport and able to attend the workplace.
- A careful approach to safety, documentation and engineering standards.
Desirable Experience
Experience across both B200 and F406 aircraft would be useful. Applicants with either relevant type rating are welcome to discuss their background with ANT Recruitment.
What Is on Offer
The opportunity to discuss specialist turboprop aircraft engineering work with an East Midlands aviation business. Salary will depend on experience. The full package, employment terms, roster and appointment timing will be confirmed during discussions.
