Job Overview

The company is seeking Sales Representatives – Ophthalmology to join its growing commercial team across several territories in Egypt.

The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting ophthalmology products and solutions, developing strong customer relationships, expanding market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving assigned sales targets within their respective territories.

  • Mansoura – Delta
  • Sohag – Upper Egypt
  • Aswan – Upper Egypt
  • East Cairo – New Cairo

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales, revenue, gross profit, collection, and product-mix targets within the designated territory.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans covering hospitals, clinics, eye-care centres, ophthalmologists, and ophthalmic surgeons.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert business opportunities for ophthalmology products, including surgical products, intraocular lenses (IOLs), equipment, and consumables.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, quotations, negotiations, and sales follow-ups.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with ophthalmologists, surgeons, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
  • Coordinate product evaluations, operating-room support, product installations, training, and after-sales services with relevant internal teams.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, tenders, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
  • Support medical congresses, workshops, product launches, and customer education activities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, forecasts, customer databases, and activity reports.
  • Follow up on quotations, tenders, purchase orders, deliveries, collections, and outstanding customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, business ethics, regulatory requirements, and approved promotional practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Science, Biomedical Engineering, or another relevant field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in medical sales or a Sales Representative role.
  • Previous experience in ophthalmology, surgical products, intraocular lenses (IOLs), ophthalmic equipment, or medical devices is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer-management capabilities.
  • Ability to develop territory plans, identify business opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory, where required.
