Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement annual sales strategies aligned with overarching business goals.

  • Define sales targets, budgets, and performance KPIs to support long-term profitability and growth.

  • Drive market expansion across new regions, channels, and customer segments.

  • Lead key account development and guide budget allocation to optimize sales performance.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Achieve set revenue and profit objectives through effective sales planning and control.

  • Oversee strategic initiatives to increase product visibility and market reach across Egypt.

  • Manage sales budgets, trade investments, and promotional spending with financial discipline.

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts based on market dynamics and trends.

  • Analyze sales performance by region and implement corrective actions or growth strategies accordingly.

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.

  • Increase product penetration across all relevant platforms including traditional trade, modern trade, and e-commerce.

  • Lead successful product launches, ensuring strong market visibility and demand generation.

  • Collaborate with marketing and category teams to align sales strategies with brand initiatives.

  • Supervise the sales administration function to ensure accurate and timely operational support.

Channel Management

  • Design and implement an effective distribution structure to maximize reach and efficiency.

  • Ensure service quality and operational effectiveness across all sales channels.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners.

People Leadership

  • Mentor, motivate, and develop sales teams to drive performance and achieve business objectives.

  • Monitor and review incentive structures to align with sales goals and budget parameters.

  • Foster a high-performance culture through continuous training and development.

Trade Activation & Merchandising

  • Lead the planning and execution of trade promotions and in-store activations.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of merchandising strategies to support brand positioning and sales.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven capability to manage the full sales cycle from strategy to execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; additional sales certifications preferred.

  • MBA or DBA is considered an asset.

  • Minimum of 17 years of sales experience, with at least 57 years in the FMCG or cosmetics industry.

  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Technical Requirements

  • Regular use of computer systems and office software tools to support daily operations and reporting.
