An excellent opportunity to join a leading hospital in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia as a Senior Registrar in Urology.

We are seeking qualified urologists currently based in Egypt who are interested in relocating to Saudi Arabia. Physical interviews will be conducted in Egypt.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Registrar – Urology will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of urological conditions. The role includes participation in elective and emergency urological procedures, inpatient and outpatient care, and collaboration with Consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with urological disorders.
• Participate in elective and emergency urological procedures according to experience and clinical privileges.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Manage urological emergencies, including urinary retention, obstructive uropathy, urolithiasis, hematuria, and acute scrotal conditions.
• Participate in inpatient, outpatient, and on-call services as required.
• Collaborate with Consultants and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Interpret and utilize diagnostic investigations, including ultrasound, CT imaging, cystoscopy, and urodynamic studies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Support and supervise junior physicians and residents where appropriate.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities.
• Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and SCFHS regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Medical degree (MBBCh/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Egyptian Board, MD, Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized qualification in Urology.
• Eligible for Senior Registrar classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• DataFlow verification required.

Professional Experience

• Relevant experience in Urology.
• Experience managing both elective and emergency urological cases.
• Exposure to endourology, stone disease, reconstructive urology, uro-oncology, and minimally invasive procedures is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a tertiary care or recognized hospital setting is preferred.
• Current medical license in Egypt or country of practice.

Language

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

References

• Strong professional references from Consultants, Department Heads, or senior medical supervisors.
• References should demonstrate clinical competence, professionalism, teamwork, and suitability for a Senior Registrar Urology position.
