Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within a healthcare facility. This role includes administrative, managerial, and clinical responsibilities, aimed at maintaining the standards of nursing practice and improving patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing.
- 7 years of experience in the same Field and 3 years same position as Nurse Manager
- Managerial skills with diploma or Masters in related field.
- Dataflow is a must.
- Saudi license holder is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
Job description and responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative environment among nursing teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures in line with organizational goals.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by maintaining nursing standards and practices.
- Monitor patient care activities, addressing issues and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Identify training and professional development needs for nursing staff.
- Organize educational programs and workshops to enhance staff competencies.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in developing and managing the nursing department budget.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available.
- Optimize resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and nursing best practices.
- Initiate quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Review patient care metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other departments.
- Foster open communication and encourage feedback from staff and patients.
- Address patient and family concerns promptly and effectively.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of quality improvement processes and patient safety standards.
