Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Monitor patients intra-operatively and manage post-anesthesia recovery.
  • Deliver critical care support when required.
  • Supervise and mentor fellows, residents, and junior medical staff.
  • Participate actively in teaching, training, and continuous medical education.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Engage in departmental committees and administrative duties.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and international standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of accredited training in Anesthesiology.
  • Board Certification (Saudi, American, or European) or equivalent.
  • Fellowship/Membership in recognized international bodies (preferred).
  • Dataflow verification once you get a job offer(mandatory).

Experience

  • Minimum 3–4 years post-board/fellowship experience in anesthesiology.
  • Eligible for or holding Consultant status with SCFHS.

Language

  • Proficiency in English (required).
  • Proficiency in Arabic (preferred).
