Job Purpose :

To run the Demand Planning / IBP cycle meetings RFC Planning & validation, pre demand for cluster and prepare demand review analysis, converting Rolling Sales FC to realistic achievable Demand plan. His/Her main added value to the business is to ensure delivery against Budget, highlight any gaps and own the action plan to close it for the cluster. The role represents the market demand within the operational side of the business.

Span of Control:

Accountable of Inventory efficiency and FC accuracy for the cluster North Africa, Turkey and India.

Reporting to: Head of Demand Planning and Customer service

Responsibilities:

Work with KAM/CM on forecast preparation and make sure data is filled with customers, Receiving and analyzing RFC based on historical trends, market knowledge and other inputs to deliver a Net Demand figure to use for planning.

Full understanding of Customers planning cycles and Supply chains, to ensure realistic demand flowing into the system.

Run the IBP cycle meetings RFC validation, pre demand review with the cluster and ensuring all meeting are held on time with targeted participation and cross functional buy in.

Coordinate with factory team and share sign off forecast by SF1 number to run MRP

Lead and contribute projects like VMI with customers and provide consultancy when needed.

Prepare, maintain, various demand planning reports as required.

Get the order from the sales/customer as per forecast and highlight forecast accuracy issues to the sales.

Global demand planning data and KPI sharing on monthly basis.

Required Qualifications: 

Essential: BSc in Business from an accredited university.

Desired: Masters degree in business administration from an accredited university.

Required Experience: 

Essential: Min. 3 - 5 years of working experience in demand planning in Manufacturing Industry or related Multinational FMCG company.

Desired: Min. 2 years of Senior demand planning role with team management.

Exposure to customer service and order handling at any level within her/his career.

Computer Knowledge:

Microsoft Office

SAP

Languages required to be known:

English and Arabic. German and/or French would be a plus.

Legally required skills:

Can easily travel to most of the countries within MEA.

Additional Requirements:

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with employees at all levels of the organization.
