Job Title: Regional Head of Supply Chain – MENA (Egypt, KSA & UAE)

Role Overview
The Regional Head of Supply Chain – MENA is a senior executive responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. This role drives strategic alignment with global supply chain objectives while ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service optimization across diverse and dynamic FMCG markets.
The role holder will oversee planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, warehousing, distribution, and customer service, ensuring resilience, agility, and scalability of the regional supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the regional supply chain strategy aligned with global objectives.
- Act as a key member of the global supply chain leadership team, contributing to enterprise-wide decisions.
- Drive transformation initiatives including digitalization, automation, and network optimization.
End-to-End Supply Chain Management
- Lead integrated business planning (IBP), demand and supply planning across all markets.
- Oversee procurement and supplier management strategies to ensure cost competitiveness and continuity of supply.
- Ensure efficient manufacturing coordination (internal/external plants) and capacity planning.
- Optimize warehousing and distribution networks to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
Operational Excellence
- Deliver best-in-class service levels (OTIF, fill rate, lead time reduction).
- Implement continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma) across operations.
- Establish robust KPIs and performance management frameworks across all markets.
Financial Stewardship
- Own regional supply chain budget, cost optimization, and productivity targets.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
- Drive working capital improvements (inventory optimization, cash conversion cycle).
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, and HR leadership.
- Manage relationships with key distributors, logistics providers, and strategic suppliers.
- Act as the primary escalation point for regional supply chain risks and disruptions.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with local regulations across Egypt, KSA, and UAE.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply continuity (geopolitical, logistics, supplier risks).
- Strengthen business continuity and crisis management capabilities.
People Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing regional supply chain organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent development and succession planning across markets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive supply chain experience within FMCG or similar fast-paced industries.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-country supply chain operations.
- Strong expertise in planning, logistics, procurement, and supply chain transformation.
- Experience working in or managing Middle East markets (Egypt, KSA, UAE highly preferred).
- Demonstrated success in leading large teams and driving change in complex environments.
