About the Role

A leading multinational pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Brand Manager – Oncology to join its Commercial team in Cairo, Egypt. This role offers the opportunity to lead the strategic direction of a high-impact oncology portfolio, driving brand growth, enhancing patient access, and delivering sustainable commercial success.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping brand strategy, generating market insights, leading product launches and lifecycle initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize patient outcomes and business performance while ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual brand strategy, including positioning, objectives, KPIs, tactical plans, and budget management.
  • Generate actionable market, customer, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities and address market challenges.
  • Support patient identification initiatives by improving diagnosis pathways, biomarker testing, referrals, and treatment initiation.
  • Translate clinical evidence into compelling, compliant value propositions tailored to different healthcare professional segments.
  • Lead product launches, indication expansions, lifecycle management, and competitive readiness initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Diagnostics, and Patient Support teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns, promotional materials, segmentation strategies, field-force tools, and omnichannel engagement plans.
  • Plan and execute advisory boards, scientific meetings, congress activities, educational programs, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with Market Access teams to support reimbursement strategies, formulary inclusion, institutional adoption, tenders, and treatment protocols.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including patient recruitment, treatment initiation, market share, sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Prepare accurate patient-based forecasts and manage promotional budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market developments to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure all promotional activities and marketing materials comply with internal policies, approved indications, and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or another Life Sciences discipline.
  • MBA or other postgraduate business qualification is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including specialty care marketing in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
  • Minimum 3 years of oncology marketing experience, with solid tumor experience being essential.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience collaborating with or supporting Market Access initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong experience engaging with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Experience working within the Egyptian pharmaceutical market is essential; regional exposure across North Africa is considered an advantage.
  • Experience within the breast cancer therapeutic area is highly desirable.
