Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and fast-learning Sales Engineer to join our client's team in Tanzania. The ideal candidate must have minimum 2 years of experience in sales of raw Materials In either of these industries: Coatings/Inks/Building Chemicals/ PVC Pipe manufacturing/ Printing & Packaging Industry. You will be responsible for driving sales, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical support to clients. Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in Coatings/Inks/Building Chemicals/ PVC Pipe manufacturing/ Printing & Packaging Industry sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and selling the clients product portfolio.

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of the products.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to address customer queries and provide tailored solutions.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new product opportunities.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Country Manager.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategy.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, particularly in Industrial Chemicals

Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • A fast learner with a strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand complex chemical products.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
