Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger to join our team in Lephalale, South Africa. The Rigger will be responsible for assembling and installing rigging equipment, lifting and moving heavy objects, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all rigging operations. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble and install rigging equipment, such as ropes, cables, pulleys, and winches, according to blueprints, specifications, and safety procedures - Inspect rigging equipment for any defects or damage and report any issues to the supervisor - Lift, move, and position heavy objects using cranes, hoists, and other rigging equipment - Communicate with crane operators and other team members to ensure safe and efficient rigging operations - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rigging equipment - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment - Keep accurate records of rigging operations, including equipment used, load weights, and any incidents or accidents - Train and mentor junior riggers as needed - Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Rigger in an industrial or construction setting - Valid rigging certification from a recognized institution - Knowledge of rigging equipment, tools, and techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Excellent attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity for career growth and development - Dynamic and supportive work environment - Training and development opportunities - Chance to work on exciting and challenging projects If you are a motivated and skilled Rigger looking to join a dynamic and growing company, we would love to hear from you!
