Job Description:

As a Hospital Cleaner at Clinics Staffing, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas of the hospital are kept clean and hygienic at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hospital standards and protocols

- Empty trash and replace garbage bags as needed

- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment

- Vacuum and mop floors in patient rooms, hallways, and other areas

- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap in patient rooms and bathrooms

- Sanitize high-touch areas, such as door handles, handrails, and elevator buttons

- Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing duties

- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with patients, staff, and visitors

- Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the hospital

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in a healthcare setting

- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection techniques

- Understanding of infection control procedures

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week. You may be required to work occasional overtime or on weekends, depending on the needs of the hospital. The work environment can be physically demanding and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals. However, all necessary safety equipment and training will be provided.
