Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a proven track record of safe and timely transportation of goods. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fleet of trucks, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain company trucks in a safe and efficient manner - Transport goods and materials to various locations as per scheduled routes - Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods - Inspect trucks before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of departure and arrival, and any incidents or delays - Comply with all traffic and road regulations, as well as company policies and procedures - Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and timely operations - Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the delivery process - Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper loading and unloading of goods - Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly secured and stored Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver - Knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures - Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and equipment - Strong communication and customer service skills - Good time management and organizational skills - Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Knowledge of Bloemfontein and surrounding areas is an asset We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
