Hospital Porter

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospital Porter. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting patients, medical equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the safe movement of patients to and from various departments, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Transporting medical supplies, equipment, and specimens as required, following all safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of transport equipment and work areas.
• Collaborating with nursing and medical staff to prioritize and respond to transport requests efficiently.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, addressing any concerns with professionalism.
• Adhering to hospital policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Assisting in the stock management of supplies and reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not required.
