Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a passion for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hospital standards

- Empty and dispose of trash and medical waste

- Restock supplies in patient rooms and common areas

- Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of diseases

- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively

- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department

- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information

- Assist with laundry and linen services as needed

- Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Hospital Administration

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, or similar setting preferred

- Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Physically able to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Hospital Cleaner will work a set schedule and may be required to work overtime as needed.
