As a Hospital Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our healthcare facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your main responsibilities will include cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, operating rooms, and other areas of the hospital, as well as restocking supplies and disposing of medical waste. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, such as waiting rooms and hallways.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a healthcare setting. You must have a good understanding of infection control protocols and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, and other areas of the hospital according to established protocols

- Restock supplies and dispose of medical waste in accordance with hospital policies

- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, such as waiting rooms and hallways

- Follow all infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases and infections

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines

- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management team

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a cleaner, preferably in a healthcare setting

- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects

- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

- High school diploma or equivalent
