Position: Laboratory Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments according to established procedures and protocols

- Prepare samples and specimens for analysis

- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of results

- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment

- Record and analyze data using computer software

- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents and supplies

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods

- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology

- Communicate results and findings to laboratory manager and other team members

- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred

- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is a plus

- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficient in using computer software for data analysis and record-keeping

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures

- Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
